Wasp Nest Removal
Single visit treatment with professional-grade insecticide and physical removal where the nest is accessible. Same-day callouts in season (April-October). Wasps die back; the nest is treated, not just sprayed.
From £80Wasp nest in the eaves? Rats in the shed? Seagulls on a holiday-let roof? Bedbugs in a changeover? We'll match you with a vetted local pest controller covering PL12 and the surrounding villages. BPCA-aligned, insured, written quotes. Same-day callouts available for wasps and rodents.
Saltash (PL12) sits on the Cornish bank of the Tamar, looking across the river to Plymouth over the Tamar Bridge and Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge. The old town runs steeply down to the waterfront, with terraces and cottages close to the river, and the newer estates spread out on the higher ground behind it. We cover Saltash across PL12 plus Landrake, St Germans, Tideford, Hatt and Trerulefoot.
Riverside streets, gardens that back onto the creeks and the steady traffic of bins and takeaways give rats and mice an easy living, and gulls nest on roofs right along the Tamar. Out towards Landrake and St Germans the work turns rural: rodents in barns, feed stores and outbuildings, and wasp nests in stone walls and lofts through the summer. A good local pest controller pairs treatment with proofing, so the problem doesn't simply come back next season.

BPCA Servicing Membership requires compliance with BS EN 16636, minimum £10m Employers and £2m Public Liability insurance, and Lantra Level 3 (or equivalent) qualifications for technical staff. For solo operators we verify training, public liability and rodenticide stewardship membership before referring.
Gulls are protected under the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 and herring/lesser black-backed gulls are not on Natural England's 2026 general licences. Lawful gull control is mainly proofing (spikes, netting, post-and-wire systems), scaring deterrents and removing food sources outside the nesting window. Killing or nest destruction requires an individual licence from Natural England — see our seagull guide.

Riverside towns do carry more background rat pressure, but an established run in your garden or under your floor isn't something to put up with. Effective treatment pairs baiting with proofing: closing gaps round pipes and air bricks, securing bins and compost, and clearing the cover rats use along walls and creek-side gardens.
